WE TRY, YOU BUY
What it is: A waterproof, sweatproof and smudge-proof black mascara. It claims to last 24 hours, even in humid conditions. It’s supposed to add so much volume (12 times that of your lashes) that it gives a “falsies” effect.
Verdict: “I tested the mascara in the shower, with the full force of the water running into my eyes and down my face. It stayed put. It also didn’t budge even though I rubbed my tired eyes throughout the day. I liked how buildable the product was. It wasn’t too wet, so my sparse lashes didn’t clump up with the first swipe. I could control lash volume – a wispy single coat for work; multi-layered and sexy for a date. The wand’s soft fibres are fluffy enough to comb through lashes so they fan out nicely.” – CT
