What we’re all talking about this month
When the cameras stop rolling, does the love fizzle out, too? This certainly seems to be the case for these ex-couples who met on set, fell quickly in love, and then severed ties afterwards
This duo were the darlings of the K-drama world when they starred in Descendants of the Sun in 2016. They tied the knot shortly after but their fairy tale came to an abrupt end when JoongKi filed for divorce after just two years of marriage.
After meeting on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith, Brad ended his marriage to Jennifer Aniston and soon Brangelina became Hollywood’s hottest couple. They had a seemingly happy union before a shock divorce announcement following their 12year relationship.
These Chinese superstars first met on the set of 2014 period drama, Empress of China, and announced their engagement in 2017. Since then, Bingbing has gone through a tough time with her tax evasion scandal and the stress proved too much for the photogenic couple who parted ways last June.
Sparks flew when these two starred opposite each other in The Rum Diaries in 2009. They were married in 2015 for two years before those sparks turned into a raging fire after abuse allegations surfaced and the two called it quits.
They reportedly hated each other while starring in 2003’s romance drama The Notebook, with Ryan even calling for producers to recast Rachel. They overcame their differences and dated for three years after the movie wrapped, but broke up in 2007.
Emma was the leading lady in Andrew’s life for four years after they met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man. The pair ended their relationship in 2015 due to “conflicting work schedules” but have stayed firm friends.

Forever Friends
Fame and fortune may come and go but these celebrity friendships have stood the test of time. In celebration of National Women’s Friendship Day on September 18, we look at the awesome twosomes who put sisters before misters:
1. Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King have taught us that it is okay to have a small circle of friends that you trust rather than a big group of acquaintances that you don’t know all too well.
2. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are long-time buds who both think that best friends should empower each other to dream bigger.
CATCH SOME ZZZ’S
“Getting eight hours’ sleep is non-negotiable to be fullvoiced. Get into bed, do the math and don’t get out until that hour arrives where you’ve had your rest.”
DON’T DRINK
“If you take care of your instrument you can have a long career, and that includes not drinking alcohol.”
ALWAYS WARM UP
“Every night before a big performance, I have a lengthy 12-minute vocal routine to warm up my chords and get me ready to go on stage.”
EMBRACE THE NERVES
“Most singers will say they still get butterflies in their stomach before they walk out on stage. I think it's good to be excited.”
