If the runways of Isabel Marant, Balmain and Stella McCartney (pictured here) are anything to go by. A trip to the beauty therapist would do the trick – head out, not home to hide after; the point is to wear your hair slightly dishevelled and your skin freshly cleansed to the point of raw. Or follow these tips from makeup artist Larry Yeo to make it seem like you did. – SK

Hydrate skin with a drop of facial oil or moisturising essence about the size of a one-cent coin, spreading it out evenly before massaging it in.

Blur imperfections with cushion foundation. It’ll cover up flaws, but still look natural.

Add a gentle glow to the cheekbones, ears and neck with an illuminator.

Spritz a pump or two (read: just a little) of lightweight hair oil, then comb through to keep locks flat at the top – as well as boast that fresh-out-of-the-spa lustre.
