QUICK TIPS!
If you’re doing an at-home mani, keep these in mind.
1 APPLY BASE COAT ON THE TIPS To prevent nails from chipping, try this: Paint your base coat focusing on the top half of your nail and over the entire nail with a second coat.
2 USE EYELINER AS A NAIL ART TOOL Bye tweezers! Use the tip of a pencil eyeliner or lip liner to place tiny nail art accessories like rhinestones on your nails instead.
3 USE WHITE NAIL POLISH AS BASE COAT To get the paint’s true color, start with a coat of white nail polish first, then go over it with the coloured polish of your choice.
4 SOAK WET NAILS IN ICE After you’ve finished painting your nails, prepare a bowl filled with ice and water, and soak them for a few minutes. Cold water will help your nails set faster. Alternatively, stick-ons will do just the job, real quick!
