Overnight Oats

With only a little preparation before bed, you can wake up to a delicious, nutritious breakfast!

With only a little preparation before bed, you can wake up to a delicious, nutritious breakfast!

BASIC OVERNIGHT OATS

3 cups milk

2 cups rolled oats

½ cup almonds, roughly chopped

¼ cup honey

2 tsps vanilla extract

In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight. Heat oats on medium heat 5 mins, stirring, until warmed through. Drizzle with extra honey to serve.

STRAWBERRY, FIG & SUPER SEED OATS

Make basic overnight oats and add ¼ cup each sunflower seeds, pepitas and linseeds. Stir ½ punnet chopped strawberries through while heating. Top with sliced strawberries, sliced figs and extra seeds.

APPLE PIE OATS

Make basic overnight oats and add 1 grated green apple and 1 tsp ground cinnamon. Serve warm oats topped with finely sliced apple, extra chopped almonds and a dusting of cinnamon.

PEANUT BUTTER BANANA OATS

Make basic overnight oats, and add 1 tbsp peanut butter. Serve warm oats topped with sliced banana, a big drizzle of peanut butter and finely chopped dark chocolate.

BERRY, GINGER & COCONUT OATS

Make basic overnight oats, and add ½ cup desiccated coconut and 1 tsp ground ginger. Stir ½ punnet blueberries through oats while heating. Top with remaining blueberries and coconut flakes.
