Melissa x Baja East
The Brazilian plastic footwear brand has been busy with one designer collaboration after another (Jeremy Scott in 2016, Comme des Garcons in 2017). Its first for 2018 is with John Targon and Scott Studenberg (both pictured left) of Baja East, the New York-based brand best known for its chill luxe American sportswear. With embossed python as the key texture, the collection has one drawstring bucket bag and four shoes – a slide, a sandal, a chunky high-heeled mule, and a lace-up ankle boot – in metallic gold, powder pink, and black. It will be launched on March 8. $115-$180
