It also deeply embeds peptides and phytonutrients into the scalp to give hair a good environment to grow in. After the treatment, our tester had another scalp analysis showing immediate positive effects on the scalp and hair. Your scalp feels incredibly fresh and clean, and your hair will be styled beautifully as well.

WHY TREATING YOUR SCALP IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN TREATING YOUR HAIR

Because an unhealthy scalp leads to unhealthy hair, says Catherine Choi, Leekaja Beauty Salon’s senior stylist. To get to the root of the problem, Ted Kim, director of the salon, says you can do four things to take care of your scalp.
1 Ask your hairstylist to recommend a shampoo suitable for your scalp condition. But note that scalp-targeting shampoos are drying to hair, so you also need a good conditioner.
2 Caps and hats can trap heat, which makes your scalp produce excess sebum that irritates it, causing premature hair loss and thinning.
3 It’s a good habit to shampoo your hair at night. Product residue and dirt isn’t good for either your scalp or hair.

4 Use a cushioned hair brush – it helps remove dirt and has a relaxing effect.
