Who would be best suited for the Pro Filt ’r Hydrating Foundation and why?
If you have dry skin, this formula is a game changer. It’s hydrating and refreshing, but also long-wearing. It is even great for oily skin, because as we start moving into cooler months, we end up over-drying our skin and it produces more oil.
Which foundation (Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation or Hydrating Foundation) do you prefer using on Rihanna?
I actually like to use both — Hydrating Foundation on the perimeter of her face and the Soft Matte Foundation in the T-Zone which tends to get oilier.

Would you recommend using both primers, hydrating and mattifying on targeted areas?
If you have combination skin, you can definitely use multiple primers. I like to use the Pro Filt’r Mattifying Primer in the T-Zone and centre of the face, which can get oilier. I would use the Hydrating Primer on the cheeks and dry patches.
What is the biggest no-no when it comes to using foundation?
Applying foundation without prepping first can really emphasise texture. Make sure to properly prep by exfoliating and moisturising your skin.
How do we avoid looking like an oil slick at the end of the day?
The Pro Filt’r Mattifying Primer is amazing to control shine. Apply the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation on the centre of the face and the Hydrating Foundation on the perimeter, to get a more natural look. Set your base with the Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder or Invisimatte Blotting Powder. Blot away oils with the Invisimatte Blotting Paper and to diffuse shine, use the Invisimatte Blotting Powder.

The key to a perfect base is skin prep!
How do we get the perfect arch for brows?
I always start with the arch because getting this part right is the most important. Make short strokes with your eyebrow pencil to mimic your natural hairs.

Invisimatte Blotting Powder for any kit and every purse! I love how I can apply it to set makeup and multiple times a day to diffuse oil.
