Dig out your favourite noughties lipstick, because if the lip looks seen at Bottega Veneta, Area and Jonathan Simkhai are anything to go by, the red-brown matte lipstick is back.

The Big Blow Out 

Seen at Ralph Lauren and Dior, this season is all about sleek, blow-dried hair parted down the centre to encourage movement. For best results, work in a heat protectant that also adds shine before blow-drying.

Berry Good 

Berry tones – purple, in particular – have been very popular on the runways. At Anna Sui, it was worn in a thick stripe across the lid, while at Oscar de la Renta, models had a light wash of lilac eyeshadow.

Glow Up With Glitter 

Full faces of glitter at Giambattista Valli, glimmering foreheads at Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, gold flecks at Ulla Johnson – glitter is here to stay. We’re most likely to recreate the more wearable chunky glitter look seen at Natasha Zinko.

Basic Brows 

In a move away from heavy, block brows, models at Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Alexander Wang and Brock Collection were seen with naturally textured brows.
