If you’re looking for a sweet treat that’s as Insta-worthy as it is delicious, try the kaleidoscopic Madeleine Croquembouche ($32 for 350g) from Intercontinental Singapore. This statuesque French dessert is decorated with strawberries, pistachios, passion fruit and blueberries. Available until Dec 25.
GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL
Fans of the melting chocolate ball trend will love Goodwood Park Hotel’s Silent Night Sphere ($28 per piece). This celestial midnight-blue “orb” is made with white chocolate and comes with a chocolate sauce to pour over. Reveal the hidden treasures inside the sphere – macarons, marshmallows, dried cranberries and more! Available from Dec 1 to 26; order at least ﬁve days in advance by Dec 19.
If you’re not into turkey, why not go for BBQ pork ribs instead? Morganﬁeld’s ushers in good tidings with its irresistible Sticky Bones, glazed with cranberry or hazelnut sauce and served with fries and coleslaw (from $29.90++). Or order its Christmas Feast that is good for four people. The hearty set ($149.90++) comes with ribs, crackling roast pork, sausages, roasted pumpkin and more. These are available for takeaway, too.

Fusing Asian ﬂavours with holiday classics, Hotel Fort Canning’s chili crab roast turkey is a must-try. Each turkey ($168++ for 4.5kg to 5.5kg) is marinated in a rich spice broth made with mud crabs for eight hours, before being roasted to crispy-skinned, divine succulent perfection. Available for pre-order from now until Dec 25.
MARRIOTT TANG PLAZA HOTEL
If you can’t get enough of trufﬂes, elevate your Christmas feast with Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel’s trufﬂe buttered roast turkey with Finanziera terrine and Madeira sauce ($248 for 4.5kg to 5kg). Back by popular demand, each bird is generously smothered in trufﬂe butter before being roasted and served with a delicious Finanziera terrine and sweet, smoky Madeira sauce. Available from Nov 22 to Dec 24; order at least three working days in advance.
A Dessert House with a lollipop wall? Oscar’s at Conrad Centennial Singapore takes festive feasting to indulgent new heights with its buffet spread. It’s available throughout December, but make a reservation from Dec 23 to 25 to enjoy its enhanced version, which boasts a delectable dessert house (featuring Oscar’s Christmas pudding, among other sweet treats), as well as a live charcoal BBQ station where you can enjoy hot-off-the-grill Black Angus ribeye and green bamboo lobsters. Prices vary according to dates; the Christmas Eve dinner starts from $168++ per adult and $42++ per child (ages three to ﬁve).
Got a sweet tooth? Try Royale’s Globetrotting Christmas Buffet at Mercure Bugis. It offers over 10 varieties of freshly baked desserts, including French ones with an Asian twist, such as pandan creme brulee, cempadak meringue tart and durian puree with vanilla mousse. The buffet is available on Dec 24 and 25, for lunch and dinner. Prices start from $68++ per adult and $34++ per child.
Impress Grandma with a Cantonese Christmas at the glamorous Mitzo restaurant at Grand Park Orchard hotel. Its six-course festive menu is a sensory journey of palate pleasers, from the starter trio of soya poached foie gras, roasted crispy pork belly and prawn in creamy bonito sauce, to melt-in-your mouth deep-fried beef with crispy enoki in cumin sauce.
