1 ENCOURAGE COLLABORATION, NOT COMPETITION

If there’s a contest element, everyone becomes focused on winning and may fail to learn anything else. Instead, choose a less competitive activity, like cooking, that encourages everyone to work together.

2 MAKE IT FOR EVERYONE

Some people think of activities like paint-ball or rock climbing as a form of team building, yet not everyone can be physically fit to do these. A cooking class suits all age groups and people with different physical abilities.

Do not perform your next team building in your office, as it will be perceived by the team as “regular work”. Choose a vibrant space that fosters creativity and communication, like a kitchen.

8 GA THER FEEDBACK AFTER THE EVENT

It is important to gather feedback in a systematic way after each session. Reach out to all participants to thank them for their time and ask them to provide constructive feedback about the event. This feedback can be really useful when it’s time to plan your next group outing. W
