To ensure that the latest Nespresso Grand Cru creation pays respectful homage to its muse, only Arabica beans from southern Brazil – known to express the preferred local coffee profile of bitterness, roasted notes and a distinctive aroma – are used. A specific harvesting technique, whereby ripe beans are gathered without coming into contact with earth, is employed to retain this specific taste profile. Pulped natural, sweet Bourbon beans are later added for sweetness and aromatic richness, while the hermetically sealed aluminium capsules provide the optimum environment for preserving the ground coffee’s freshness. The resulting Cafezinho do Brasil Grand Cru, named after the traditional cafezinho, or “small coffee”, is a velvety brew with a walnut-and-sandalwood aroma, and unusual herbal notes reminiscent of thyme or rosemary – an iteration worthy of the original.

Brigadeiro Cappuccino
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cafezinho do Brasil Grand Cru capsule
2 teaspoons concentrated milk
3 teaspoons doce de leite (milk jam)
50ml milk Chocolate sprinkles
OTHER THINGS YOU NEED:
A Nespresso View Cappuccino Cup
A Nespresso Aeroccino or Milk Frother
STEPS: Spoon the doce de leite into the Cappuccino Cup. Prepare the espresso capsule and stir it in. Froth the milk, mix it with the concentrated milk, then pour this into the cup of espresso mixture. Add some chocolate sprinkles and drizzle any remaining doce de leite sauce on the foam as decoration.
Ginger Coconut Brazilian Delight
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cafezinho do Brasil Grand Cru capsule
1 slice fresh ginger
5ml coconut syrup
10ml ginger syrup
150ml coconut water Ice cubes
OTHER THINGS YOU NEED:
A Nespresso View Recipe Glass
A shaker
A straw
STEPS: Pour the ginger syrup into the glass, followed by four or five ice cubes, coconut water and coconut syrup. Prepare the coffee capsule and add it, along with two ice cubes, into the shaker; shake until cool. Pour the espresso mixture into the glass, garnish with the ginger slice and serve.
