My Reading Room

Headed by Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard, Nuvolari-Lenard is working on the 456ft vessel’s concept, exterior and interior design.

The Venice-based design studio confirmed that the mega yacht will be able to cater for two helicopters. It will also carry a fleet of tenders, including some up to 15m (50ft), for a range of purposes. The lower decks will include a sports and diving centre, and a swimming pool partially protected from the elements.

The design studio is collaborating with the same owner’s representative and build team from Moran Yacht & Ship that it worked with on the 88m Quat roelle, delivered in 2013.

Project Redwood will be Passenger Yacht Code compliant and is being built in Bremen with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. www.nuvolari-lenard.com. www.luerssen-yachts.com.
