Italian Cristiano Gatto will be responsible for the interior design, while Thom Conboy of Ocean Independence is the sales representative.

Standout features include a helipad on the foredeck, an aft-deck infinity pool and a side-loading garage that can house two jetskis plus a 6.25m tender.

The yacht is based on Van Oossanen’s Fast Displacement XL hull form and operates with a total interior volume of less than 300gt. The Fast Displacement XL concept is an evolution of the Van Oossanen patented FDHF (Fast Displacement Hull Form).

Perry Van Oossanen said: “It offers maximum length, superior comfort and the highest performance. It gives the possibility to create the longest yachts ever within the 200, 300 or 500gt boundaries.” According to the designer, a 20 per cent increase in length results in 10 per cent more interior space and 30-40 per cent more exterior deck area, allowing for greater exterior lounge, pool and sunbathing areas.

“So it’s possible to have a 45m-plus yacht, reaching close to 30 knots, with a 6ft draft, of less than 300gt,” he added.

Of the exterior styling, Fiorentino said: “I gave this yacht a contemporary, sleek and sharp look that perfectly combines with the lightness of its generous open spaces. An aggressive attitude reflects the high performance hull that lies below the water line.”

Guest accommodation comprises five cabins – an owner’s suite on the main deck, plus three doubles and a twin – while the crew quarters in the bow includes three en-suite cabins for six crew.

The vessel is designed to be powered by twin 2,600hp MTU 16V2000 M96L diesel engines for a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising range of 3,500nm at 12 knots, while a pair of gyroscopes with active inter ceptors can be installed. The yacht is designed to be built from an aluminium hull and superstructure to Lloyd’s and ABS standards, compliant to LY3. www.oosanen.nl
