ASIAN DEALERSHIP SIMPSON MARINE has recently sold the first Lagoon 630 Motoryacht to Jakarta, Indonesia. The yacht will be delivered in March 2017 and will be used privately by its Owner and friends to cruise around the waters of Indonesia.
ASIAN DEALERSHIP SIMPSON MARINE has recently sold the first Lagoon 630 Motoryacht to Jakarta, Indonesia. The yacht will be delivered in March 2017 and will be used privately by its Owner and friends to cruise around the waters of Indonesia.
This new Lagoon 630 MY power catamaran will feature a four-cabin layout, and a comfortable saloon directly connected to a large cockpit – a space for socialising with a large group of friends. Another special feature of this yacht is a commanding flybridge, completed with a big dining table and a generous set of sun pads. It was designed by VPLP naval architects.
Making her worldwide debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and Asia debut at the Singapore Yacht Show in 2015, the Lagoon 630 MY saw Lagoon officially declaring the return to the motoryacht sector with her launch. Since then, the flagship has gained popularity in Asia with units sold in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and now Indonesia.
The Lagoon 630’s accolades include the ‘Best interior design in the 50ft to 80ft yacht category’ during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2015 and also ‘Best Worldwide Production Motor Yacht (15m to 24m)’ at the 2015 Asia Boating Awards organised by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines.
This first sale is expected to be followed by other Lagoon sales in Asia, with a new opportunity to enroll the yachts in the Simpson Marine Charter programme and let charter operations cover operational costs while generating some regular income for the Owners.
