12th China (Xiamen) International Boat Show, Wuyuan Bay, Marina, China; November 1-4, 2019.

WITH A FOCUS, this year, on the theme of “The New Life of the Coast”, this event hopes to enhance the communication platform and cooperation within domestic and overseas boating industries. Organisers take full advantage of the exhibition venue to exhibit both on land and in water.

The show will also include multimedia promotion channels by setting up a comprehensive online exhibition, as an additional high-quality and convenient sales exhibition platform, functioning also as a handy cooperation and communication platform which encourages both industry and public participation.

The scope of the show is broader than a display of boats alone. Although this is the highlight, and alongside power yachts and sailboats expect to see other varieties, such as inflatable, sightseeing, and fishing boats.

A water sports services area within the show will display kayaks, dugout canoes, diving boats and gear, sport sailboats, windsurfing boards and sails, as well as bringing training service providers for both sailboats and yachts.

In the more industrial sections of the show, areas will be devoted to wharf and leisure services, featuring wharf developers, wharf, port and dock equipment, boat design companies, yacht clubs, water sports clubs, as well as logistics and transportation operators. Other materials and equipment expertise displayed will include companies that specialise in power plants, propulsion systems, boatbuilding components and portable equipment, communication and navigation equipment, engines, life-saving devices, marine clothing and fishing gear.

Additional to the marine focus is the lifestyle part of the show, in which high-end real estate, luxury cars, private jet, limousine services, leisure tourism operators, overseas property brokers, equestrian event organisers, and purveyors of luxury goods, that include watches and furniture will also be exhibiting their wares and services.

Financial and insurance services, including those arranging yacht-related insurance, will be in attendance – as will a broader selection of specialists offering investment and finance, bank financing and business guarantee services.

Finally, cultural and creative products – with a coastal theme – will be on display. As well as coastal artwork and craft products, there will be nautical accessories such as compasses, and ranges of related clothing and footwear.
