WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF?
It's about sharing yourself in a way that remains consistent with who you really are. It also means not caring so much about what others think, or doing things just to prove a point—and yet having the courage to express yourself.
WHAT STARTED YOUR JOURNEY TO ACHIEVE THIS?
When I was 26 and at the crossroads of my radio career, I didn't embody the 'girl-next-door' image that was all the rage back then. I sported a shaved head, wore heavy eye makeup, and spoke my mind. Because of that, I didn't get hired for many hosting gigs or magazine shoots. But I stood my ground and decided not to conform.

Well, I definitely sleep better at night! The thing is, everything in life is a choice. When you do what makes you happy, everything falls into place. Trust your instinct. Follow your light. You decide what's important to you.
WHO GIVES YOU THE INSPIRATION TO KEEP GOING?
My late mom. Her strength and grace remains unrivalled since her passing 15 years ago. She had the biggest heart and never cared for being liked or understood by anyone. She just loved and shared quietly without fanfare. My baby nephews, Leighton and Austin, also bring so much light into my life.
