Boo Or Beau?

Ghosts have starred in many feature films and they do not have to be gory or scary. Here are some sexy spirits that we love:

Clockwise, from top left:

LAST CHRISTMAS: There are rumours that Henry Golding’s character in this upcoming holiday movie is a ghost because he wears the same outfit every time Emilia Clarke interacts with him. If he does turn out to be a spirit, we will not mind if he haunts us for life!

JUST LIKE HEAVEN: Life and love get tangled up in this movie that is based on a French novel. Featuring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo, the pair have sizzling chemistry as an architect who falls in love with the ghost of a woman haunting his apartment.

GHOST: Perhaps the most famous mystic romance of all time, Ghost was a major hit starring Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze when it was released in 1990. The sleeper blockbuster combined murder, supernatural elements and humour in a love story that touches viewers’ hearts even to this day, more than 30 years on.

A CHINESE GHOST STORY: This 1987 Hong Kong romantic comedy featured Joey Wong as a beautiful spirit who enchants the late Leslie Cheung. The film has a cult following in Asia and sparked two sequels as well as an animated film, a television series and a 2011 remake.

Brush up on these facts when World Toilet Day drops on November 19!

Smartphones have more germs on them than a toilet seat.

Modern toilets use six litres of water in a single flush.

Men take more time than women in the loo.

The average person will use the toilet 2,500 times in a year for about 20 minutes per day.

The first cubicle in a public toilet is usually the cleanest.

Before the invention of toilet paper, French royalty used lace.

BEYONCÉ (@beyonce)

The superstar is notorious for being media-shy, which makes her Instagram a treasure trove where fans can get access to Bey-content. Recognising this, her Instagram feed is a highly curated mix of fashion shots and personal photos. The one thing that sets her apart from the Hollywood set? She uploads everything in rows of three. What you can learn: Upload your images in rows of three.

GEMMA CHAN (@gemma_chan)
