Considering how few watches make it out of Laurent Ferrier’s workshop every year (not more than 200), it’s always exciting to see a new product enter the collection. New to the indie favourite is the Galet Regulateur, a 40mm regulator-style watch (where the hour and minutes are separated) with a self-winding calibre, 72-hour power reserve, silicon escapement and the brand’s signature micro-rotor. As expected from a Laurent Ferrier watch, the movement features exquisite finishing in abundance, including Geneva stripes, polished bevels and chamfered wheel spokes.
