Most of us would baulk at the thought of paying $880 for a moisturiser, but what if the hefty price tag is backed by big claims, like the one in Sisley’s Supremya range is? In fact, all the products in this range are pricey but promise some pretty impressive benefits. For one, they promise to strengthen the skin’s natural reparative ability. This is especially handy for mature skin, as skin cells grow weaker as we age.

The range boasts a potent complex of four plant-based ingredients to keep skin looking youthful from the inside out, while protecting against damage caused by pollution and dust. The result: less obvious wrinkles and plumper skin that’s reportedly more resistant to damage.

The products also have a soothing floral scent, courtesy of the cocktail of essential oils in their formulas – no artificial fragrances here. To be used at night (when the skin’s reparative process is at its best), this range comprises three products: an eye serum, a serum and a balm.

Sisley Supremya At Night The Supreme Anti-aging Skin Care, $880.
Once the cream-like formula sinks in, it leaves skin feeling smoother and plumper immediately. With continued use, our tester noticed a brighter complexion as well.

Sisley Supremya Yeux At Night The Supreme Antiaging Eye Serum, $345.
Go for this if your main concern is saggy eyelids. It has oat kernel extract to firm skin and an algae extract that makes eye contours look plumper and more refreshed.

Sisley Supremya Baume, $880.
This rich, balmy night cream has hydrating hazelnut oil and protective kokum butter to lock in moisture. It’s just the thing for mature, parched skin – expect it to feel softer and smoother in the morning.
