INGREDIENTS

2 pieces frozen pork katsu*

4 Kellogg’s Eggo Homestyle Waffles*

3 tbsp Masterfoods Dijon Mustard

3 tbsp Mizkan Sesame Goma Shabu Sauce*

2 eggs

1 head baby romaine lettuce

1 tomato, sliced thinly

2 slices of Food for Friends cheese

* Pork katsu and Mizkan Sesame Goma Shabu Sauce are available at Mmmm ! , #04-55 Novena Square 2 and http://www.mmmm.com.sg. Kellogg’s Eggo Homestyle Waffles are available at major supermarkets.

DIRECTIONS

1 Deep-fry the pork katsu and leave to drain on kitchen towels.

2 Toast the waffles until lightly browned.

3 To make the dressing, mix the mustard and shabu sauce until smooth, and set aside.

4 Crack the eggs, one at a time, into a pan, and cook over low heat for 3min or until the whites are cooked through but the yolks are runny.

5 Assemble the burger: Layer lettuce leaves and tomato slices on a waffle, drizzle with dressing, and top with a piece of pork katsu followed by a slice of cheese. Toast the half-assembled burger for 3min or until the cheese melts.

6 Place the sunny side-up on the cheese. Brush some dressing on the second waffle, and place on the egg. Repeat for the other burger. Serve warm.
