LITTLE OR NO OIL NEEDED

Compared to conventional frying, the Philips Airfryer saves countless calories and ensures that you consume up to 80 per cent less fat without compromising on taste or your health. Your food can be ready quickly, too, as pre-heating isn’t required.
Philips Viva Collection Airfryer HD9623/11, $349 (UP $449), is available at major electrical stores. Off er valid until Dec 31, 2016.
HOW TO GET YOUR FRIED FOODS REALLY CRISP
For an evenly browned, crispier result, give the basket a quick shake or two halfway through cooking. This lets the hot air get to all the ingredients. You don’t even have to watch over your food while it’s cooking as the timer automatically switches off the appliance when the preset timing is up. Simply sit back and get ready to dig in.
A GRILL PAN FOR DELISH MEAT & SEAFOOD DISHES
The accompanying grill pan offers even more versatility, letting you grill meat, fish and vegetables quickly. This gives you the chance to get creative. Besides French fries and chicken wings, meatballs and spring rolls, you can whip up satay, a steak or rack of lamb in the Philips Airfryer, too.
Need a little more inspiration? The Philips Airfryer app and recipe booklet give you access to hundreds of healthy savoury and sweet snacks, and meals you can whip up in a flash.
IT CAN BAKE AS WELL
Craving a simple chocolate cake, banana muffins or an apple crumble? The Philips Airfryer is up for the job. With a bit more effort on your part, it can also turn out a mean souffle, and light, airy profiteroles.
CLEANING UP IS EFFORTLESS
With its QuickClean basket, cleaning up is fuss-free. Let the appliance cool down for 30 minutes before removing the detachable parts for cleaning. Apart from the non-stick mesh, the pan, non-stick coated drawer, food basket, EasyClick handle and grill pan are all dishwasher-safe.
