THE NAUCRATES 85, part of the new Ductor Series by Italy’s Cheyenne Yachts, has been designed principally by Italian design studio Green Yachts to be used as a pilot, escort or support vessel for megayachts. The yacht is built with a steel hull with aluminium superstructure, and provides a helicopter landing pad in the stern.
The large outside deck, completely free, is able to host tenders, dinghies, jet skis and even cars, which can be managed and operated with a powerful crane amidships. The flush deck area can also be used as a beach setup with tables and sun loungers, all with sea view due to the gunwale folding on both.
If required, the yacht’s Easy Plug System, which features pre-plugged systems and easy locks on decks, enables a superstructure to be added on the main deck – such as to provide extra guest accommodation – or the layout to be changed.
The model is not limited to use as a support vessel. It can also act as a standalone yacht and include three double cabins. On the main deck are the dining and living room, while the first bridge, accessible by a staircase, has a large wheelhouse and seating area with a panoramic view.
The modern interior designs employ wood with lacquering and leather inserts, combined with Italian furniture.
