TAG Heuer
Connected Modular 45
Engineered in collaboration with Intel, Tag Heuer’s connected watch features a GPS, an NFC sensor for payments, high-definition AMOLED screen and a plethora of customisable Tag Heuer dials. Though it’s a digital watch compatible with Google’s Android Wear 2.0, it’s still made with top-grade materials like titanium, ceramic and rose gold with the impeccable attention to detail that the brand is known for. The same concept of modularity also applies to the lugs, strap and buckle.
ZENITH
Defy El Primero 21
A collection that earned its reputation for precision, speed and reliability, it only makes sense for them to revolutionise the concept of the chronograph second from tenths to hundreds. Its double-chain structure made of new material Carbon-Matrix Carbon Nanotube composite is insensitive to magnetic fields and temperature gradients, and promises accuracy like never before.
HARRY WINSTON
Project Z11
This year, Harry Winston dazzles by interplaying openwork structures, an off-centred grid and large date with circles and angles, all while juxtaposing rigor with flexibility, and durability with lightness. Following the Z9 and Z10 traditions, the Harry Winston-exclusive alloy Zalium was also used for the grey silhouettes within the 42mm case pop. Woven in-between the satinated bridges are a double aperture date, calendar, hours and minutes, as well as a small, shuriken-style second hand in the centre.
