What’s cooking? Baby’s first foods!

At the Baby’s First Foods Cooking Workshop 2018 on Sept 15 – presented by Mount Alvernia Hospital – mums and dads learnt to cook delicious yet nutritionally balanced meals for weaning babies.

They listened intently as Tan Shiling, a senior dietitian from Mount Alvernia Hospital, explained how to introduce solids to babies, and offered nutrition and feeding tips.

Parents then had fun whipping up the dishes at ToTT Century Square‘s cooking studio.

They took great care in preparing the three recipes from the hospital: macaroni and cheese muffins, creamy sweet potato with chicken, as well as palak paneer, an Indian dish with spinach and cheese.

After an afternoon of dicing, slicing and tasting – as well as lots of laughs and bonding – everyone took home goodie bags with products from Bellamy Organics and Mead Johnson.
