The first step to good skin is hydration, and the second is to treat skin concerns such as loss of firmness, clarity and radiance.
To help you do that, Porcelain uses cryotherapy in its Cryotherapy Intensive facial ($425.86 for 75min, for face and neck). Cryotherapy reduces your skin’s temperature to minus 15 deg C for a few seconds to boost its ability to absorb skincare ingredients. The temperature drop also gives facial contours a lift by toning the muscles.
Unlike many cryo facials that go straight to cryotherapy, this one preps skin for product penetration with needleless mesotherapy. A Cryostamp device punctures the skin with super-fine needles, to a depth of 0.25-0.5mm.
The therapist then applies a customblended serum – either an Anti-ageing and Hydrating Blend to treat dehydrated skin and fine lines, or a Sensitive Blend to calm skin – before massaging your face with a low-frequency Cryoprobe. This cryotherapy applicator is what cools the skin rapidly, staying in each area for just a few seconds.
The therapist then slips the Porcelain Hydrocare Biocellulose Mask over your face for deep hydration, and follows this with a shoulder massage. The facial then wraps up with toner, moisturiser and sunscreen.
