Cue gasps – the Italian fashion house has launched 58 lipsticks as part of its makeup overhaul.

We have Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, to thank for this. The first items – and there are 58 – of Gucci’s revamped makeup line are all lipsticks.
Michele says he chose lipstick because it is the ultimate makeup tool. “It’s also the most beautiful object you can find inside a handbag,” he says. Drawing inspiration from Hollywood’s Golden Age, he set out to create an object of desire – something Audrey Hepburn might fish out of a tiny beaded bag.
The lipsticks come in three finishes: Satin, Voile (sheer and gel-like) and Baume (not pictured; a balm-like tint available in four shades). What are the colours like? A broad palette of hues such as grey-beige, tawny brown, raspberry violet, and even black. All 58 items are available in Singapore for $53 each. – CT
