The New Power Couples

Meet the next level his and hers fragrances: They share the same key notes and complement each other, while still retaining their own identity.

Portrait of Tammy Strobel

Bottega Veneta Illusione For Her, $465, and For Him, $430

A balance of freshness and soft sensuality. For Her, with its bergamot, orange blossom, fig, olive wood and tonka bean is a woody-floral that’s crisp and feminine. For Him is a woody-citrus scent comprising lemon, woody fir balsam, white cedarwood, vetiver and tonka bean – the overall effect is a modern and enigmatic scent you’d want to wear yourself.

Loewe 001 Woman and 001 Man, $200 each

Loewe 001 Woman is an addictive gourmet trail of citrus and pink pepper, Egyptian jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla and the exclusive amber molecule, Ambar 001. 001 Man is spicier and woody, with notes like cardamom, bergamot, cypress wood, cedar, vetiver, white musk and patchouli.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Amyris Femme Extrait de Parfum, $465, and Amyris Homme Extrait de Parfum, $430

A fruity-floral, Femme Extrait de Parfum is opulent and intoxicating. It has amyris from Jamaica, iris oil from Florence, jasmine absolute from Egypt and more. Homme Extrait de Parfum is a creamy, spicy scent with an old-school-gentleman vibe, with Brazilian tonka bean and vanilla for a deeper, warmer finish.

Tiffany & Co. Tiffany & Love For Her EDP, $180-$245, and For Him EDT, $125-$170

Both are fresh and uplifting in it own way. Hers: crisp blue basil and grapefruit, with a heart of neroli, and a woody base of blue sequoia, vetiver and cedarwood. His: a burst of ginger, mandarin and cardamom oils, before revealing a woody heart of juniper and cypress, then a dry-down of sandalwood, vetiver and blue sequoia.
