If you have 5 mins
Flush & Rush

Let’s face it: Five minutes isn’t a lot of time, but it’s enough to hide flaws and enhance your features. Dab on concealer on problem areas, focusing on pimples and blemishes to give the appearance of an even skin tone. Then, frame your face by filling in your brows and brushing on a cream-based cheek colour. If you have bonus seconds to spare, the cream blush can double up as a lip colour as well.

2. 3CE Longwear Tattoo Eyebrow Marker in Ash Brown, $20.

The Eyes Have It

With an additional five minutes, you can achieve a whole lot more by playing up the eyes. Stick to the concealer, cream blush and brow marker from before, and accentuate your eye makeup. An eye shadow stick is easy to draw on and blend, while mascara will draw attention to your peepers.

1. Browhaus HD Mascara, $17.90.

2. NUDESTIX Magnetic Eye Color Pencil in Twilight, $37.

The Full Works

If a Singapore Airlines stewardess can put on a full face of makeup in 20 minutes, so can you. Now that you have more time to spare, use a makeup primer to help your makeup last all day. Take time to even out the skin tone and apply your eye makeup. The extra five minutes will also go towards highlighting your cheekbones, and applying a strong lip colour.

1. Burberry Beauty Liquid Lip Velvet in No.53 Oxblood, $46.

2. NARS Pore & Shine Control Primer, $65.

3. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop, $58.

Blushing Beauty

For those who are chronically late, 15 minutes is a lot of time for preparation. Now that you’re done with your eyes, focus on evening out the skin tone with an all-purpose CC cream instead of just concealer. Switch the cream blusher for a powder one, as it goes on better over the CC cream. Then apply a tinted lip balm to give a little colour to the lips.

1. Laura Mercier Windflush Colour Powder for Cheeks & Eyes, $68.

2. IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream SPF 50+, $62.

3. LANEIGE Two Tone Tint Lip Bar in No 3. Tint Mint, $32.
