The Glitterati

Add sparkle to the eyes with a mix of coloured glitter. It will draw attention to your peepers and make them stand out during the night.

EASY DOES IT

Just a dab of glitter on the inner corner of the eye gives this heavy eyeliner look a touch of colour.

SPARKLE TRIO

Using three different colours of glitter, this eye look is actually really simple to achieve. Press glitter on primed lids instead of swiping it on to avoid scratching your skin.

SLIVER SCREEN

Using glitter of different sizes gives the eye look more dimension. Use a glitter primer like the Too Faced Glitter Glue, $32, to extend its wear.

Loopy Hair

A great way to tame long hair, this stylish ’do starts off with a sleek ponytail. Using another hair tie, start tying another ponytail, except this time, you’re not pulling the hair all the way through, but leaving loops until you’ve worked your way through the entire length of your hair.

Lashed Out

For sky-high lashes without the use of extensions or falsies, turn to an eyelash curler and primer before applying mascara. To avoid clumpy lashes, let mascara dry in between each coat and use a clean mascara wand to brush out clumps gently.

Cupid’s Glow

What looks like a nude lip actually holds a secret – using a subtle highlighter on the Cupid’s bow gives lips added dimension and helps it look more plump and pouty.

Boy Brow

Instead of the high-contrast brows trending on Instagram, the brows sported on runway models were strong, but smudged around the edges. Brow powders do a great job at shaping those arches without looking too defined – plus, you don’t have to worry too much about making mistakes.

Pixie Perfection

For those who dare to go short, the pixie hair cut is making its way down the runway again. This season, we are spotting ultra-short bangs to really show off the jawline and neck.

Emporio Armani

Tame wispy bangs with pomade to look in control and polished and fierce.

Giorgio Armani

For bangs that are growing out, sweep them to the side to help frame the face.

Underlined Gaze

Skip the liner on the upper lash line and focus on the bottom for a unique eyeliner look

Ermanno Scervino

Black is the easiest colour to work with. Use a waterproof eyeliner so that the colour doesn’t smudge.

Elie Saab

Blue eyeliner is really flattering on Asian skin tones, turn to a bright cobalt blue to really bring out your peepers.

Cividini

An unlikely eyeliner shade, olive green eyeliners look amazing on those with darker skin tones.

Royal Flush

This season’s runway beauty looks call for a transluscent wash of colour on the cheeks. Achieve this watercolour effect with creambased blushers.

Too Faced Peach My Cheeks Melting Powder Blush in Ginger Peach, $42.

K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Cheek Tint in 02 Peach, $19.90.

All Tied Up

This look is not something we’d normally try out, but it does have some practical merits – it’s great for making the face appear smaller, and you don’t have to worry about strong winds ruining your hairdo.

Powered Up Pouts

Red lips instantly elevate your makeup look and help you appear more polished. This season sees a warmer take on red lips with orange undertones for a brighter, more refreshing look.

Sunset Glow

Yellow and orange eye shadows aren’t normally flattering, but mix in a bit of red and gold for gorgeous sunset eyes. Skip the strong eyeliner (or just tight line the lash line) to let the colours really come through.

Porcelain Skin

Flawless-looking skin is always in style. Count on light- to mediumcoverage foundations to even out the complexion for filtered skin that still looks like your own.

Sephora Collection looks like your own. Glow Perfection Foundation in NT26, $26.

Seeing Red

Vary the intensity of your eye look as you please with red eye shadows. Use all over eye for a pop of colour, or just the wings of your eyeliner for an understated, yet fiery eye makeup look.

Contrasting Views

An eye look doesn’t always have to feature complementary colours. Throw in a mix of contrasting shades to play up your peepers.

Graphic Lines

Add interest to your cat eye look with an arch on the crease line. Not sure where to draw? Use your finger to gently locate the edge of your eye socket below the brow, and draw a line following the curve of the socket.
