Inspired by the cosmos, Swiss watchmaker Zenith’s latest timepiece is its first purely feminine watch, and the perfect mix of versatility and style.

Made for the modern woman who isn’t afraid to dream big, the Defy Midnight in practical stainless steel with a glossy finish dial is Zenith’s first women’s watch designed as a ladies’ collection. “We are placing women’s watches at the forefront of the brand’s creative endeavours, but we weren’t content with making yet another ladies’ watch. With our newest models, it is the first time that Zenith has conceived women’s watches from the ground up,” says the brand’s CEO Julien Tornare.

A visual manifestation of the Swiss luxury watch maker’s philosophy “Time to reach your star”, this understated and elegant timepiece evokes the beauty of the dark vastness of the night sky with its gradient blue or grey dials. The white mother-pearl dial with a vertical gradient effect evokes moonlight on a cloudy night. Equipped with the automatic Elite in-house automatic movement, the sporty chic 36mm timepiece has a power reserve of 48 hours, and a beautiful star-shaped oscillating weight brings a galactic element to the caseback view.

Designed with versatility in mind, each Defy Midnight comes with three additional coloured straps and an interchangeable folding clasp. Put on the integrated stainless steel bracelet while playing sports, then swop it with leather for work and satin for date night. The clincher: the fuss-free strap-change mechanism integrated directly on the back of the straps, which requires zero tools or special skills.
