Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge EDP Spray $194. This new take on the brand’s Modern Muse EDP is warmer and sweeter than the original. We’ll definitely be wearing this blend of ripened rose, vanilla and amber notes long after the party season is over.
Sisley Eau du Soir 100ml Fragrance Set, $320. While this moody-spicy scent of citrus, oak moss and juniper gets us in the mood for a hot date, it’s the opulent bottle with a carved stopper plated in 18K gold that takes the cake. Plus you get an Eau du Soir body cream in this set too.
Dior J’adore Eau de Parfum Luxe Jewel Box 100ml, $281. Now you can bring J'adore's distinctive scent of ylang ylang and rose on your travels or to party in the form of a purse spray that's roughly the height of a pen. Plus point – it's refillable (and mess-proof, we promise!), so you can just top it up and use it all year long.
Easy on the eyes
Work is almost always hectic, and all that overtime means I usually end up with tired-looking eyes. My go-to fix for dark circles (and the look of fine lines)? Shiseido Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate, which has rose water and yeast to supposedly protect and strengthen the delicate skin in the eye area. Botanical ingredients such as ginkgo biloba leaf extract and thyme also work on brightening the darkness around the eyes. My favourite part? This concentrate has a gel-like consistency that feels so cooling on the skin.
To get more bang for my buck, I’m picking up Shiseido Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate Set ($100). Apart from a full-sized bottle of my favourite eye serum, this set (worth $223) includes mini versions of the brand’s Eudermine Revitalizing Essence, Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate, Bio-performance Super Corrective Serum, Perfect Rouge lipstick and Translucent Loose Powder. – Carina Koh, beauty writer
