What it is
The newest addition to Laneige's Two Tone family of dual-coloured lipsticks, the Two Tone Tint Lip Bar combines a vivid-coloured tint (the V-shaped bit) with a highly nourishing balm. When applied, it creates a natural ombre effect, like an “I just had a popsicle” look – minus the effort or know-how.
How it works
The V-shaped portion creates the optimum tint gradation in a single swipe, applying lip balm to the outer lip contours while colouring the inner edges of the mouth, an area which Laneige terms My Tinting Zone. And it looks most delectable when it’s played up in a juicy reddish hue. How to use: The coloured side always faces you, and the tinted balm faces out – whether you’re using the product on your upper or lower lip. For a deeper gradient, use the flat side of the lip tint to darken the inner lip area.
It also moisturises lips
Two Tone Tint Lip Bar has ingredients from Laneige’s best-selling Lip Sleeping Mask for smoother and more dewy lips. It has Moisture Wrap™ technology, which both hydrates lips and prevents dead skin cells from building up.
The hot shades
The collection boasts eight luscious fruit- and candyinspired shades, including two which were specially created with South Korean actress Lee Sung Kyung – #3 Tint Mint, which gives lips a coral tint that brightens your complexion, and #8 Cherry Milk, which shows up as a vivid blood red on your lips for a bolder look.
Laneige Two Tone Tint Lip Bar will be available at all Laneige boutiques and counters from Jan 5, 2017.
