For the last three years, thanks to our diligent features team, Her World has been rounding up a list of outstanding men (page 92) who are not only successful but give back to society in their own ways.

In this year’s edition of multi-faceted guys, we have corporate lawyers who endeavour in their philanthropic interests and creatives who have found inventive ways to do good through their work.

Keith Tnee and Joshua Woo Tsung-Ken take on pro bono cases to fight for migrant workers’ rights and represent the underprivileged. Andee Chua offers entrepreneurial lessons to teens and Kenneth Chia uses his copywriting skills to promote NGOs.

Reading about each of them gives me hope that there are bound to be many more achieving men out there contributing on the quiet.

And it gives me much pleasure to present these empowered men as I believe that in order to create the modern, inclusive society we desire, not only do we need to elevate women (as we so often already do at Her World), we also need to uplift the men. - NYL, EDITOR
