"Iris Law at the BRIT Awards in February 2020"
Iris Law, 19
Parents: Jude Law and Sadie Frost
She promised herself she would never miss any school for modelling, so all of Law’s campaigns— including as a face of Burberry—had to happen at the weekends. Last year, she signed on with IMG while finishing up English literature, philosophy and arts courses, and has developed a keen interest in sustainable fashion. She forages for plants and uses them to dye her clothes.

"Cosima Auermann"
Cosima Auermann, 22
Parents: Olaf Björn and Nadja Auermann
“The first time I became aware of the fashion industry was when I was about 10,” Auermann told Models.com. “This was the first and also the only time I’ve seen my mother walk a catwalk.” Since then, she has landed shoots in international fashion magazines and campaigns, including one that promotes ocean conservation.

"Damian Hurley pays homage to his mother’s iconic safety‑pin dress at the launch of Pat McGrath Labs’ new product line"
Damian Hurley, 17
Parents: Steve Bing and Elizabeth Hurley
With a powerhouse mother, iconic godfathers (Elton John and Hugh Grant among them), that hair and those eyes, it’s clear that Hurley is destined for greatness. He played the Crown Prince of Liechtenstein in TV series The Royals and began pursuing modelling when he signed with Tess Management in late 2018. As a face of Pat McGrath Labs, Hurley paid a tongue-in-cheek homage to his mother’s iconic Versace safety-pin dress during a photo call for the makeup brand last year. Keep an eye on @damianhurley1 on Instagram for updates on his career and the volume of his hair.

"Kate Moss and her daughter at the Dior Homme Menswear spring/ summer 2020 show"
Lila Moss, 17
Parents: Jefferson Hack and Kate Moss
It would be an understatement to say Moss’s parents are supportive of her career: She’s signed to her mum’s modelling agency and her first magazine cover was Daze (formerly Dazed & Confused), her dad’s publication. Despite a whiff of nepotism, there’s no doubt Moss is deserving of her rapidly rising status: She recently starred in a Marc Jacobs Beauty campaign, and even gives her mum fashion and beauty advice. She has yet to storm down a runway, but watch this space.
"Andie MacDowell and Margaret Qualley"
Margaret Qualley, 25
Parents: Andie MacDowell and Paul Qualley
An aspiring ballerina in her callow youth, the youngest of the Four Weddings and a Funeral star’s three children quit because the perfectionist in her realised that she would never be the dancer she wanted to be. Then 16, she made the switch to modelling in order to stay on in New York, and has since walked for Alberta Ferretti, Valentino and Chanel. Despite her initial reluctance to follow in her mother’s footsteps, her acting chops have made critics sit up and take notice, even with small roles such as a hippie hitch-hiker/ member of the Manson family in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, where she holds her own next to seasoned thespians such as Brad Pitt.

Iris, 17, and Maude Apatow, 22
Parents: Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann
Their father is a director and their mother is an actor, so the fact that these sisters are both pursuing time on screen should come as no surprise. Maude has had roles in Lena Dunham’s Girls and as her mother’s daughter in her father’s films Knocked Up, Funny People and This Is 40. More recently, she starred in the hit series Euphoria. Her younger sister has also appeared in their dad’s films, as well as cult Netflix series Love.
"Ava Phillippe"
Ava Phillippe, 20
Parents: Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon
For a while there, the only time you’d see Phillippe was in “You Won’t Believe How Much They Look Like Their Mothers” celebrity-kids listicles, but she’s quite the visual artiste and has starred in Rodarte’s autumn/winter 2018 lookbook.

"Selah Marley spotted at Paris Fashion Week in 2019"
Selah Marley, 21
Parents: Rohan Marley and Lauryn Hill
She’s music royalty (from her Grammy award-winning mother to her reggae icon grandfather, Bob), but Marley seems more fashion-inclined. She has walked for Yeezy and Chanel, modelled for Beyonce’s Ivy Park, and is a regular at fashion week and its after-parties. As for what we can expect? Big things. “I feel like I’ve done a lot, but I still feel like I have a long way to go,” Marley told The Sunday Times Magazine. “I don’t feel like I’ve done enough, honestly.”
"Esther McGregor"
Esther McGregor,18
Parents: Ewan McGregor and Eve Mavrakis
McGregor has been a face of Fendi (along with her older sister, Clara, for the brand’s 2018 F For Family campaign) and Acne Studios. She has released a single called “Green Eyes” and has an Instagram account full of street style to die for. She gets bonus points for joining Cara Delevingne in calling out the owner of Coachella after it was reported that he had donated money to anti-LGBT groups.

"Maya Hawke at the 2019 American Music Awards"
Maya Hawke, 21
Parents: Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman
It’s fair to say that as the daughter of Hollywood heavyweights and the great-great-grandniece of playwright Tennessee Williams, Hawke has performance in her blood. Last year, she joined the cast of Stranger Things, and she has also modelled in fashion campaigns (Miu Miu and AllSaints) and written two singles for a soon-to-be-released debut album.

"Celine Dion with son René-Charles Angélil at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards "
René-Charles Angélil, 19
Parents: René Angélil and Celine Dion
Angélil didn’t tell his mother he was a rapper (stage name Big Tip) until his music reached the top of SoundCloud’s Canadian R&B charts in 2018. Making it on his own, despite having some of the music world’s best contacts at his fingertips, is to be admired. “I wanted to prove to myself that I’m able to do it. Not just because my mum is who my mum is,” he told the Montreal Gazette. ■
