Take a walk through the Italian city of Naples, where Chanel’s latest collection was born.

Beauty can be inspiring, but it can also be inspired. For Chanel’s Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer Lucia Pica, the inspiration for the S/S ’18 collection came in the form of her hometown, Naples.

This season, she decided to go “back to somewhere that I really know and I really belong to,” her hometown, to dream up the collection. “I was going back to my roots and memories.”

As part of the process, she took two photographers on a trek around the city to snap the sights and hues. The result? A collection that captures the beauty of Naples.

Available from December 28 at all Chanel Fragrance and Beauty boutiques, and from January 5 at all Chanel Fragrance and Beauty counters.
