This tip packs a double whammy – not only do you repurpose an item that was destined for a landfill, you add a little touch of green into your life.
3 CUT DOWN ON CLUTTER
With everything now at our fingertips, it’s easy to click “buy” without thinking. But old-school eco-hacks shouldn’t be overlooked. Using tote bags instead of plastic ones when you’re shopping, and visiting a library instead of buying books to score new reads are still effective ways to go green and reduce your carbon footprint. As a bonus, you end up with less clutter at home!
