“When you’re working with wax, you can really see which hairs are going to be removed and what kind of shape you’re going to be left with,”says Jared. Wax can also remove fine hairs that are usually difficult to remove, resulting in a more precise brow shape.

Waxing removes hairs straight from the roots so, over time, the hair growth cycles of the different follicles will start to sync up. Jared recommends that you start by going to the brow bar once every four weeks. After a year of this, there will be fewer stray hairs, so you can go more than a month between appointments.
