Apply these handy tips to keep your milk fresh for as long as possible.
1. Keep it cold
Milk, along with other dairy products like yogurt, should go into a cooler bag upon purchase and then straight into the fridge when you get home.
2. Consume quickly
Once opened, fi nish it within three days to ensure freshness.
3. Store properly
Milk stays fresh better when stored towards the back of the fridge, where it is cooler. Avoid storing it in the door shelves as it may be more exposed to harmful bacteria if the door is opened and closed repeatedly.
