Tea, Yakult and strawberry syrup – one of Boba Brew’s most popular drinks.

Expect a bigger caffeine buzz at Singapore’s only coffee-centric festival, especially with more cafes coming on board this year to show off their brews. Think big names on the scene like Common Man Coffee Roasters, Jewel Coffee, and Chye Seng Huat Hardware. But hold up, non-coffee drinkers haven’t been sidelined – expect drinks like Dapper Coffee’s super-popular Unicorn Tears and Merlion Blood (yes, really), quirky cocktails from Symmetry, and Boba Brew’s freshly made strawberry oolong tea.

Choose a time slot (brunch or sundown), sip your drinks at one of the outdoor wharves of the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, take in the majestic Singapore skyline, and be entertained by live music from specially curated local acts. If you’re not one to sit around and chill, you’ll find lots to hold your attention: watch baristas do battle, attend coffee workshops, or take part in some exclusive dining experiences.

The Singapore Coffee Festival, organised by The Straits Times, runs from Aug 4-6, 2017. Get tickets – priced at $18 and $22 – from http://sgcoffeefestival.com.sg.
