Like a Boss

If The Godfather were interpreted with a modern, oriental spin, Bosses would set the scene perfectly.

If The Godfather were interpreted with a modern, oriental spin, Bosses would set the scene perfectly. The Chinese restaurant’s Mandarin name alone means “secret society,” which is encapsulated by decadent, black triad-themed interiors illuminated by panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The menu, too, deviates from tradition in the best way possible, with flavourful classics elevated through innovative

techniques and western ingredients. Think xiao long bao in a pool of luscious lobster bisque; and a dim sum menu (and dim sum happy hour) that boasts a giant rice roll stuffed with succulent shrimp and pork, crispy fried beancurd skin, and a medley of mushrooms and vegetables. Creativity aside, dishes still taste as authentic as they get, and should come with the ultimate sweet finish—glorious Golden Lava Custard Buns.
