Fashion may have its weeks, but so does food—from 20 March to 16 April, the World Gourmet Summit will turn Singapore into Asia’s culinary capital once again. The three-week extravaganza, with the theme of United Nations Gastronomic Assembly, will see over 30 award-winning establishments—like boCHINche, Salted & Hung and Ding Dong—serve up exclusive menus, as well as a farmer’s market, glitzy luncheons and culinary master classes. Gala dinners remain a highlight, this time starring three guest chefs: Mitch Lienhard from Michelin three-starred restaurant, Manresa in California; celebrated chef and restaurateur, Dharshan Munidasa from Sri Lanka; and Canadian Quentin Glabus, who put “Modern Indigenous Cuisine” on the food map.
