SANLORENZO’S AMEGLIA SHIPYARD celebrated the launch of its latest SL86, Stae, on the same day as the Italian builder’s Viareggio shipyard launched the 20th SL96, B&B.
Stae is a 26.76m fibreglass planing yacht and was launched in the presence of her American owner and his family, while B&B is a 29.1m planing-hull motoryacht for a Turkish owner.
Sanlorenzo operates at three different production sites within 50km from each other, including the Ameglia shipyard, which builds fibreglass motoryachts from 24-28m (SL78, SL86, SD92), and the Viareggio shipyard, which creates the larger fibreglass range from 29-38m (SL96, SL106, SL118, SD112, SD126).
The new Sanlorenzo Superyacht facility in La Spezia is dedicated to the construction of steel superyachts from 40m to over 80m. Current builds include four 460Exp explorer yachts, the 11th 40Alloy planing yacht, two 52Steel units and one 64Steel.
