Be positive

Get away from those individuals who put you down and shred your confidence. Be positive, even if you’re not feeling it quite yet. Stop focusing on all the problems in your life and instead begin to focus on solutions and making positive changes, even if they are small things.

Body language and image

Smiling lights up your whole persona and not only will it make you feel better, but it will make others feel more comfortable around you too. imagine a person with good posture and a smile and you’ll be envisioning someone who is self-confident.

Maintain eye contact with the person you are speaking to and remember to speak slowly. research has proven that those who take the time to speak slowly and clearly feel more self-assured and appear more confident to others. The added bonus is that people will actually be able to understand what you are saying.

Positive affirmation

Low self-esteem is often caused by the negative thoughts running through your mind on an endless track. The next time you hear that negativity start to fester in your head, stop! Focus instead on a positive affirmation and keep it up until it hits the calibre of a self- confidence boost.
