To do their bit to help keep the Earth clean and green, Korean beauty brand innisfree launched their annual “Eco-Handkerchief Campaign” in 2010. This year, innisfree is encouraging everyone to “Use a Hankie, Save the Earth”, and do their part to cut down the use of tissue paper by using a handkerchief instead. Since the beginning of the campaign, innisfree has produced and distributed 2.92 million specially designed eco-handkerchiefs in the world. This year, the design of the eco-handkerchief takes inspiration from the Jeju Haenyeo (women divers in JEJU who dive into the ocean to harvest various shellfish and seaweed by hand without any underwater breathing equipment). Being an advocate of green living as well, The Weekly has tied up with innisfree to promote this meaningful campaign.
