ROAD TRIP REDUX

Escape on a road trip in luxury style with the Hutte Hut (www.huttehut.com). Its exterior, which is an aerodynamic, modernist take on the classic teardrop camper, is certainly pleasing to the eye – and it has substance within to match too. Each trailer is made to custom specifications in America, and the specs are impressive: aerospace aluminium space frame chassis, Okoume marine ply exterior, Baltic birch floors and fixtures, watertight interior and exterior, carefully finished to luxury automotive standards. Prices start at US$63,900 (S$87,500) for a 44 sq ft trailer – about that of a District 10 luxury development in terms of price per square foot – but this will be a luxury pad that actually travels with you.

FIN TECH
You might be loath to swim with the sharks in the corporate world, but what’s stopping you from swimming like one underwater? Successfully launched on Kickstarter last month, Aquajet Dive H2 (http://www.hoverstar.com/e_productshow/?14-AQUAJET-IVE-14.html) is an underwater propeller that can be used for a range of water sports, from deep diving and swimming to surfing. Shaped like a manta ray with “wings” that one can hold on to, the three-speed device with a top speed of 9kmh allows you to cut through water like a bloodthirsty shark. Designed for high speed and low noise, it allows for an underwater experience that is not just speedy but also serene. The device disassembles to fit neatly into a backpack, so you can easily bring it along on your next dive holiday.

In English, it means that it has superior reflective and insulation properties to shield you from the elements. Another huge perk is the easy set-up. REAL MEN WEAR ROUGE
There is much debate over whether makeup lines created for men are a step forward in breaking gender stereotypes or a step backward in our need to look “perfect”. Whichever the case, makeup for men is here to stay, and Chanel is getting in on the game. Boy De Chanel, named after Coco Chanel’s lover and muse, is a minimalistic line comprising just four shades of tinted foundation, eyebrow pencils in four hues, and a matte lip balm. Slated for an international launch next year, we expect to see it in the "murses" (man-purse) of every style-forward gentleman.
