Most people spend Sunday morning sleeping in, but these women were up and raring to go bright and early on March 20. They were at Big Splash in East Coast Park for Shape Fitness Fiesta, which was hosted by radio DJ Charmaine Yee, who livened up the atmosphere even more with her cheery banter and encouragement.

Amore Fitness instructors Francis, Farasha and Hidayah kicked off the first segment with an hour of Funkblitz, a fun, energetic workout that had participants moving to the latest hip-hop and dance beats. Next up was Cardiolatino, an innovative dance workout that combined steps from samba, rumba, cha cha, paso doble and jive. To cool down, everyone did a series of Stretchfit stretching and breathing exercises during the last 30 minutes. The calming moves and deep stretches helped to relieve muscle tension while improving coordination and strength.

Afterwards, everyone mingled and took photos while sipping on refreshing juices from Florida’s Natural. Some also queued for the free body composition analysis by Amore Fitness, while others had fun testing out the latest products from Korean skincare brand, Belif, which gave away prizes to four readers in a lucky draw.

After the exciting fringe activities, everyone collected their goodie bags and called it a day. Cheers to a morning well spent!
