LOVING THE GOOD LIFE
I was under the impression that Her World is all about fashion and beauty, so I was pleasantly surprised by the interesting lifestyle and travel articles in your June issue, such as Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, which introduced unique coffee jaunts, and Take a Walk on the Wild Side – interacting with arctic wolves and swimming with whale sharks are definitely not the run-of-the-mill vacation ideas one reads about. A BIG THANK YOU
Between work, raising my kids and dealing with household matters, I was so tired and mentally drained that I hardly spent time with my husband, nor communicated with him. Save Your Zombie Marriage! (June) made me realise that I still treasure my marriage and that I should take active measures to improve the state of things – which I did. I rejigged my schedule so I could spend time with the kids and still enjoy couple time with my husband.
