By turning vintage apothecary recipes into a range of rose-scented bath and body-care products, Patricia Rose and her daughter Caroline are bringing back good old-fashioned indulgence. Their label, Rose & Co., offers everything from hand soaps to body lotions. If you have space for only one product, the must-buy is Rose Petal Salve, which, among other things, soothes blisters, moisturises the lips and tames the eyebrows.

Those with a weakness for cuteness will love its sister brand, Patisserie de Bain. As its name implies, its lineup, which includes bath bombs and bar soaps, draws on French pastries and their yummy aromas – think strawberry cupcake, cherry pie and lemon sweets. To shop both brands’ complete collections, hop on down to multilabel store Naiise. Alternatively, visit e-tailer Alluring Sense (www.alluring-sense. com) or online gifting site Sprouf (www.sprouf.com), which carry selected products.
