FIT FOR A KINGSMAN
Jaeger-LeCoultre and MR PORTER have teamed up for the limited-edition Master Ultra Thin Kingsman Knife watch, released to celebrate the third instalment of the Kingsman movie franchise. Inspired by the brand’s iconic Couteau pocket watch from 1907, the sleek pink gold timepiece measures just 4.25mm thick and has been produced in a limited run of 100—that particular number chosen because the latest film goes back a century to explore the origins story of the fictional, dapper English secret spy organisation.
Home Scents candles, from $125 to $520, Loewe
SCENTS & SENSIBILITY
Jonathan Anderson has always had plans for Loewe to be a full lifestyle brand. Now, he has taken one step closer to that goal with the launch of Loewe Home Scents. Inspired by a return to living in nature, the 11 scents evoke the earthiness of a Victorian herb garden—from honeysuckle and juniper berry to oregano and ivy. Each scent stands alone and has been translated into candles, home fragrances, rattan diffusers, matches and soaps. The House’s constant dialogue with craft is evidenced in the ribbed ceramics holding the candles, which reference the drinking vessels of Ancient Greece—reinterpreted here as striking Modernist sculptures.
The Saint Laurent fall/winter 2020 collection was an alluring blend of sharp tailoring, silky shirts and slouchy denim
For his latest Saint Laurent menswear collection, Anthony Vaccarello looked to the classics—specifically, the fashion of the late ’60s, early ’70s—and refreshed them with a contemporary attitude. Tailoring was the collection’s foundation, which he cut long and slim, with shoulders square and high. To this, he added plenty of denim—some were in the signature dark, skinny Saint Laurent style, but the ones that looked freshest were the washed-out blue jeans, loosened up and cropped slightly above the ankles. Dashes of animal print and silken pussybow blouses added glamour and romance into the mix.
